I don’t think I’ve ever had an epilogue dampen my experience of a book before.
Which is so hard for me to say, because I really did love this. It was a slow build, carving out the characters and the dire situation they find themselves in. Placing joy in the nooks and crannies.
But then, the epilogue. *Sigh*
